With approximately 15'000 in-person participants and 100'000+ virtual attendees from 190+ countries, the Webit event is the largest tech event.

Webit was founded in 2008 by Dr. Plamen Russev, who sought to develop a completely new worldwide platform that would symbolize the term "convergence" in the events sector. While technology was rapidly evolving, there was no such gathering in the world that brought together all industries influenced by technology in one area.

Webit was the first event of its sort in the world, holding 10 (later 15) concurrent stages of summits on issues ranging from Health Innovation and Biotech to Branding and Marketing, Smart Cities and Mobility, FinTech, Cyber Security, and Defence and Space.
